Weaver’s notes were essential for this fabric, detailing every step of the process. How to wrap with the intricate knotting and twisting of lurex, the coning, the ends-per-inch, the threading draft, the reed setup, and executing the longest peg plan ever. 

This project pushed all technical boundaries, utilizing a superfine elastic yarn in an iridescent lilac hue.

A series of pencil drafts documenting the yarn counts, warping details, threading sequence, and reeding density. This serves as a weaver’s recipe journal, meticulously recording the behavior and characteristics of the yarns throughout the weaving process
